Scotland Day 2

The second day was spent with a small group to see some historical sites. The first sites were clava carins and they thought they were used for solar and lunar events. The second place was the battleground between the Jacobites and the British. It was the last battle to take place on UK soil. The Jacobites were trying to take back the thrown and thought that Prince Charles was the rightful King. The British had removed his ancestors from the throne because they were Catholic and they felt that a King should be Protestant. The final stop was in the Highlands to see some nice scenery.

The Red Flag is where the British lined up and the Blue Flag was where the Jacobites lined up at and they charged the British and were decimated. The battle only lasted 45 minutes.
