After 12 miles of hiking at 7,000 plus elevation we ended up at the peak to catch the sun setting of the lake. The last trail we did ended up at a peak where the elevation was 8,100. Lots of snow still covered the ground and it got pretty darn cold. I even had to use my phone flash light to make it back down the mountain after sunset. It was an adventure to say the least.
